Terms of Service

These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of Ocean One, the Oceanworks website, the owner panel, verification tools, and related services (collectively, the "Services"). By inviting Ocean One, accessing the owner panel, or using any Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Services and remove Ocean One from your server.

1. Eligibility and Authority

You must be permitted to use Discord and any other integrated service under its rules and applicable law. If you invite Ocean One to a server or configure it for a server, you confirm that you have the authority to do so and to grant the permissions required for the selected features. You are responsible for actions taken through your account and by people you authorize to manage your server.

2. Acceptable Use

You may use the Services only for lawful, authorized, and legitimate community-management purposes. Your use must comply with Discord's Terms of Service, Community Guidelines, Developer Policy, and other applicable third-party rules.

3. Prohibited Uses

You may not use, configure, access, or assist another person to use the Services to:

• Organize, coordinate, facilitate, or participate in raids, mass-joins, spam, mass mentions, harassment campaigns, brigading, targeted abuse, or disruption of a server or community.
• Reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, inspect, copy, extract, scrape, or attempt to discover the source code, private APIs, prompts, credentials, infrastructure, or non-public operation of the Services, except where applicable law expressly permits it.
• Exploit vulnerabilities, bypass rate limits or access controls, evade a ban or restriction, impersonate Oceanworks or another user, or obtain unauthorized access to accounts, servers, data, hosting, or administrative tools.
• Use automated requests, self-bots, scripts, or other tooling to overload, probe, manipulate, or interfere with the Services or Discord.
• Use moderation, verification, logging, global ban, or reporting features to fabricate evidence, submit knowingly false reports, retaliate against users, discriminate, dox, stalk, or expose private information.
• Store, transmit, solicit, or distribute malware, phishing content, stolen credentials, illegal content, or content that violates another person's rights.
• Use the Services to facilitate criminal activity, fraud, evasion of law enforcement, or violations of applicable law.
• Remove, obscure, or bypass notices, attribution, security controls, or usage limits included in the Services.

4. Enforcement

We may investigate suspected violations and take action without prior notice when reasonably necessary to protect the Services or users. Actions may include warnings, removal of features, deletion of abusive content or data, disabling access, removing Ocean One from a server, suspension, or a permanent or global ban from Oceanworks Services. We may also preserve or disclose information when necessary for security, legal compliance, or abuse investigations. We may consider context, severity, intent, history, and cooperation when deciding an appropriate response.

5. Data and Privacy

Our collection and use of information is described in the Privacy Policy. You are responsible for ensuring that your server's use of logging, verification, recordings, and other features is properly disclosed and authorized.

6. Service Availability and Changes

The Services are provided on an evolving basis. We may modify, restrict, suspend, or discontinue the Services or any feature at any time, including for maintenance, security, legal, or operational reasons. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, accuracy, security, or compatibility with Discord or another integrated service.

7. Ocean One Plus and Purchases

Purchases for Ocean One Plus or other paid features, where offered, apply only to the authorized server, account, or period stated at the time of purchase. Unless applicable law requires otherwise or a separate written policy says otherwise, purchases are final. Access may be revoked if these Terms, Discord's rules, or payment-provider requirements are violated.

8. Intellectual Property

Oceanworks and its licensors retain all rights in the Services, including software, branding, documentation, and original content. These Terms grant you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive permission to use the Services as intended. You may not copy, resell, sublicense, or create a competing service from the Services or their non-public components.

9. User Content and Feedback

You retain ownership of content you submit through the Services. You grant Oceanworks permission to process that content only as reasonably needed to provide, secure, support, and improve the Services. You confirm that you have the rights and permissions needed to submit it. Feedback may be used without compensation or restriction.

10. Disclaimers and Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Services are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. Oceanworks is not responsible for Discord outages, third-party actions, server configuration choices, moderation decisions, user content, unauthorized access caused by compromised credentials, or indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or lost-profit damages arising from use of the Services. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.

11. Indemnity

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to defend and hold harmless Oceanworks and its operators from claims, losses, liabilities, and expenses arising from your misuse of the Services, violation of these Terms or third-party rules, or infringement of another person's rights.

12. Changes and Termination

We may update these Terms by posting a revised version on this page. Continued use of the Services after an update means you accept the updated Terms. Sections that by their nature should continue after termination, including intellectual property, disclaimers, liability, indemnity, and enforcement records, will continue to apply.
